Family, history, sandwich.

Boston is old in a way I’ve never seen. Headstones with 1600 on it. Famous people we only see in the history books.

The bulk of our time was in Sandwich, a small but beautiful town on the cape. Lush green grass, cape cod style shaker homes, funny names everywhere. It was great!

I was one of the groomsman for Cody - luckily no speeches. The wedding was nice in Jack’s back yard. Reception, speeches, dances went off without a hitch. We all drank too much with the crazy ass Boston bartenders and the rest of the family. Typical Wilichowski fashion.

Fenway was one of a kind. Everything felt intentional and warm, even with the musky dampness everywhere. The game wasn’t spectacular - they lost to the A’s, but that was really what we were there for. The train ride to and from Sandwich was cool. Always love public transportation.

Our final day before our evening flight was spent wandering Boston and the freedom trail. We saw the commons, granary burial site, Massachusetts state house, and wrapped it up at the Union Oyster House.

Wonderful trip, would happily do it again.
